    Lymphoma

    Lymphoma is a malignant disease that is characterized by damage to the lymph nodes and internal organs, in which “tumor” lymphocytes accumulate. There are two types of the disease – Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s. The doctor develops an individual therapy program for each group. If you have any suspicious signs of the disease, you should immediately contact a specialist. Indeed, the treatment started on time helps to get rid of the pathology easier.

    Causes of the disease

    Experts believe that the disease can develop under the influence of the following factors:

    • Hereditary predisposition;
    • Diseases associated with a weakened immune system;
    • Infection with certain types of viruses, for example, herpes virus, hepatitis;
    • Long-term interaction with carcinogenic substances;
    • History of operations related to stem cell or kidney transplantation.

    A qualified specialist will conduct the necessary research and select the optimal therapy regimen, taking into account the peculiarities of the development of pathology and the general condition of the patient.

    Diagnosis and treatment of the disease

    The specialists of the leading Israeli clinic Tel Aviv Medical Clinic have been specializing in the treatment of various pathologies in children, including lymphomas, for over 10 years. Our department is equipped with the latest equipment that helps to identify a dangerous ailment at the initial stage. All medical personnel undergo special training annually at foreign research centers. We have set tariffs at the state level, which makes the provision of services more affordable for the population. The wards of the clinic are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay of patients.

    To make the correct diagnosis, the doctor conducts the following examination:

    • Examination and collection of anamnesis of the disease;
    • Ultrasound;
    • MRI;
    • Biopsy;
    • Scintigraphy;
    • Analysis of blood and urine;
    • PET and others.

    Based on the data obtained, the doctor will develop an individual therapy regimen, taking into account the characteristics of the baby’s development and the presence of concomitant diseases. The most effective way to get rid of a tumor is to remove it. Our surgeons use minimally invasive surgical techniques. After surgery, a course of chemotherapy is required. If the mass cannot be removed physically, the doctor uses radiosurgery and targeted therapy.
